Advertising Options Through the Catholic Media Association

Catholic Media Association Publications and Programs

CMA Member E-Blast Mailing:
Advertise directly to CMA members through an e-blast. Provide the copy and the CMA will send the information to its members.

The Catholic Journalist:
Each member of the CMA receives a copy of the monthly association newspaper. CMA members are the key decision makers in Catholic communications across North America. Generate awareness of your products and services among this key group of professionals.

CMA Member Directory Advertising:
The CMA Directory is distributed to CMA members at no charge and is purchased by businesses, libraries and universities. This annual reference tool, published in January, is used throughout the year for continuous ad impressions. The directory lists current members: publications, publishers, communication offices, freelancers, service providers, and other media professionals in Catholic communications.

Catholic Media Conference:
The Catholic Media Conference is the largest in-person gathering of Catholic communicators in North America. The June conference offers numerous opportunities to reach attendees. Organizations can greet potential customers in person by being a conference sponsor or an exhibitor. Advertisements in the conference program book promote your organization’s product or service.

Catholic Media Association Website Advertising:
Engage CMA website visitors with a Run of Site ad. Read the testimonial from one of our advertisers.

Our publication has had a small banner ad on the CMA web site for the past few years. It is the only national promotion we do and it has produced a healthy number of advertising inquiries. The ad is linked to our website giving potential advertisers immediate information and contact. The cost of the ad on an annual basis is modest, much less than what an advertiser would spend on one ad, so it has paid for itself many times over.

Catholic media Advertising Service:

For Print and Digital Placements

CMA member publications reach over nine million households plus their digital and social media audiences. The association through its advertising program, Catholic Media Advertising Service, helps business reach those readers and viewers by placing targeted advertising in appropriate markets.

Each publication is an independent publisher with its own rate structure and production schedule. CMAS assists advertisers by acting as a purchasing agent that gathers all the rate, size and production deadlines for each chosen market and presents them to the advertiser in a package deal.

The advertiser receives all services at the rate-card rate without any additional service fees, and all invoicing and payments are made through CMAS so the client pays just one bill.
