Catholic Review Media | Archdiocese of Baltimore

Patrick McCarthy, a former videographer for Catholic Relief Services, has joined the communications department of the Archdiocese of Baltimore as video/digital content coordinator. He will serve as the first full-time videographer for the archdiocese and Catholic Review Media. McCarthy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a parishioner of St. Louis in Clarksville.

Jenna Mattern, a recent graduate of Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore who served in an editing role with her college newspaper, is the new digital content coordinator for Catholic Review Media. The New Jersey native is a parishioner of Sacred Heart in Glyndon.

Kelly Snyder, a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County, is the new web administrator for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. She also assists at the Catholic Review. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph in Fullerton.

Diocese of Lexington/Cross Roads

Holly Neal is communications director for the Diocese of Lexington/Cross Roads. Neal is a leader whose experience, creativity and commitment to the mission of the church will strengthen diocesan outreach across the 50 counties of central and eastern Kentucky. In this role, Neal will oversee diocesan communications, media relations, digital strategy, and collaborative support for parishes, schools, and ministries, helping tell the story of the faith, the people, and the mission of the church throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky.

Florida Catholic/La Voz Católica

Emily Chaffins, having served as an Archdiocese of Miami freelancer since 2021, was promoted to assistant editor of the Florida Catholic/La Voz Católica in June 2026. Her roles include assisting in the design and publication of the two archdiocesan newspapers, reporting on events, collaborating with freelance writers, editing local stories and curating the Through the Catholic Lens blog. Coming from a creative writing background, her reporting and editorial style emphasizes vivid storytelling.

America Media

Molly Cahill will serve as America Media’s new associate director of digital strategy. After a successful tenure as associate editor, editing and managing America’s Scripture reflections, newsletters and social media, she will step into a new strategic role where she will be responsible for building digital products and growing and nurturing audiences.

Brigid McCabe will serve as America Media’s assistant editor for digital strategy. After a fruitful year as a Father Joseph A. O’Hare, S.J., Postgraduate Media Fellow at America, McCabe begins a new role connecting America’s flagship content with audiences in the digital space. She also will take a special focus editing America’s daily Scripture reflections.

Hawaii Catholic Herald

Lisa M. Dahm is the newest reporter and photographer for the Hawaii Catholic Herald in the Diocese of Honolulu. This is her third season working full time at the newspaper. She worked there 1993-95 and 1999-2005. She also freelanced for the biweekly while on the Big Island from 2008 to 2016.
