Reporting to our Lead Content Producer, the incumbent will partner with newsroom, social media, and marketing colleagues to develop and oversee video stories. The Lead Content Producer should be experienced in video production, editing, and publishing. S/he will work as a reporter with experience in news/video production and/or digital content strategy. We are looking for a team-oriented, enthusiastic person with excellent writing, editing and print design skills to work with the editor to produce the Idaho Catholic Register as well as the annual diocesan directory. This person will also complete print jobs as requested by the Bishop’s office and other pastoral center directors. Ideally, this person will have a strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Photoshop and experience assembling text, photographs, artwork and other visual components in aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-read formats. The preferred candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or similar field or at least two years’ experience in print-related employment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a good eye for layout, spelling and grammar.
